About @{ System.Security.Principal.WindowsIdentity.GetCurrent().Name; }
The 1980 war fought between Iran and Iraq (lasting for eight years), on one hand, destroyed everything that could be called civilization in most parts of Iran. On the other hand, the extremists of 1978 Islamic Revolution of Iran were in the middle of a civil war waged against the rioting Kurds in search of independence. The country was a cauldron of devastation and even worse were the terrorist attacks of the 1990s which usually were accompanied by sporadic gunfire and bombings in different cities. In such a mess, I was born to a teacher and a housewife in war-torn Ilam, Iran, the nearest city to the invading Iraq and with a population mostly of Kurds. I received an ordinary education and got my BA in English Language and Literature at Ilam University in 2009. Then, in 2010, I was admitted into Kharazmi University of Tehran, Iran, to pursue my education in English Literature. Kharazmi University was a perfect place to test myself in philosophy as well as in comparative literature with historical and textual analysis approaches, especially with having a nice mentor like Dr Fazel Asadi Amjad who was always warmly available to me. I did my thesis entitled “An Ontological Vindication of Darl’s Existential Authenticity from a Heideggerian Point of View” (indexed in Proquest) and graduated with an MA in 2012. Then, I returned to Ilam to do my general military service as a Lecturer at Ilam University. Those two years were priceless to me since I had time to spend with young students and get to learn better what I was teaching through courses like English Poetry and Drama.
Years later, after I finished my general military service, I started learning computer programming which has been my lifelong love. From that point on, I’ve been coding for many companies and of course for myself. I’ve had many failed but priceless endeavors to start my own business, the last of which is IZOTOP, an online digital shop based in Tehran.
I have a long way forward and feel too happy to let myself down. I don’t count the failed paths; I count the paths which will not take me to the right destination. Wish me luck and I wish you the same.
